Close Combat - Modern Tactics 1.0

Close Combat Modern Tactics 1.0 is a software tactical simulation war game for multiplayers of PCs for 1-10 players that presents them with the challenge of completing 25 modern battle scenarios to win the game.

The game is based on real world and hypothetical conflicts and close Combat Marines which is used in Close Combat Modern Tactics 1.0 as a USMC training simulation. It features hand-drawn maps, realistic soldier psychological profiles during combat, and accurate, authentic, equipment modeling. Players can take command of either US or opposition forces and engage in head to head battles with up to 5 players per side. Players are ‘armed’ with modern era weaponry with air and artillery support available on call, but their mission objective depends on their close combat playability.

There are varying capabilities on both sides and the game features multiple nationalities in addition to specialized squad soldier types. Close Combat Modern Tactics 1.0 runs well on DirectX systems and has adjustable game speed, scrolls speed, and sound volume. Battlefields range from the backwoods of America to the streets of Iraq and the former USSR. A game editor is included and a user manual is available to download in PDF and in printed formats.
